A Laczkó Dezső Múzeumban jöhet létre az ország legfontosabb szamizdatgyűjteménye

A Veszprém - Balaton 2023 Európa Kulturális Fővárosa program támogatásával

A Laczkó Dezső Múzeum a Veszprém-Balaton 2023 Európa Kulturális Fővárosa program támogatásával új projektet indított Szamizdat – Erjedés a felszín alatt címmel. A projekt célja a rendszerváltás történetét és korszakát bemutató kiállítás anyagának gyűjtése és feldolgozása. A múzeum jelentős szamizdatanyagot vásárolt, illetve az állományába került a Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeum szamizdat-gyűjteményének egy része.Ezzel az ország egyik legfontosabb ilyen jellegű irategyüttese jött létre.

A múzeum legújabb gyűjteményben megtalálhatóak a legismertebb szamizdat folyóiratok (Beszélő, Demokrata, Hírmondó,) példányai, valamint a legjelentősebb szamizdatkiadók (AB Független Kiadó, ABC Független Kiadó, Magyar Október Kiadó stb.) kötetei is. A magyar kiadványok mellett jelentős cseh és lengyel szamizdat is gazdagítja a gyűjteményt.

A Laczkó Dezső Múzeum rendelkezésére álló forrásanyagok bővítése érdekében DOKUMENTUMGYŰJTÉST ( https://www.ldm.hu/hu/hirek/dokumentumgyujtest-indit-a-laczko-dezso-muzeum-2021-10-13 )indít, amely során Veszprém város és a megye polgáraihoz fordul. A kulturális ellenállás fogalmán belül minden jelenséget fontosnak tart, azaz a rendszerváltás felé mutató, a rendszer korlátai ellen ható és Veszprém városához vagy a megyéhez köthető valamennyi folyamat, esemény, szerveződés emlékanyagát gyűjti. Ezzel kapcsolatban vár minden írott dokumentumot, fotót, hangzó anyagot, tárgyi emléket! A gyűjtés során bekerült dokumentumok, valamint a Laczkó Dezső Múzeum szamizdatgyűjteményének meghatározó darabjai a 2023-ban nyíló interaktív kiállításon kerülnek.

The Laczkó Dezső Museum, Samizdat - Fermentation Under the Surface, is launching a new project to explore and present the processes leading up to the change of regime, which is supported by the Veszprém-Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture program.

 

The Dezső Laczkó Museum considers the collection of memories related to the events of contemporary history, including the change of regime and its age, to be a priority. It puts under the scope various forms of cultural resistance between 1948 and 1990. Thus, artistic initiatives separate from the official, religious communities established within or outside the churches, provocative musical tendencies that contradict the accepted pop music, special fashion trends, non-traditional alternative lifestyle experiments, samizdat in place of abolished free speech.

The Laczkó Dezső Museum is launching a DOCUMENT COLLECTION in order to expand the resources available for the research, and we aim to address the people of the city of Veszprém and the county. Within the concept of cultural resistance, all phenomena are considered important, ie.  the memoirs of all the processes, events and organizations that point towards the change of regime, act against the limitations of the system and can be connected to the city of Veszprém or the county. In connection with this, we are expecting all written documents, photos, sound material, memorabilia!

 

During the collection, special emphasis is placed on some topics.

 

The focus of the collection is on all written documents, photos, audio material, objects that provide information

of unauthorized, illegally distributed publications, samizdat, activities of civil movements before 1990,

activities of unauthorized church / religious movements before 1990, pre-1990 punk culture or any other alternative music initiative, for the fashion trend that can be seen as an expression of the identity of any subcultural group that existed between 1948 and 1990.

With regard to samizdats, we are looking not only for political publications, but for any text reproduced by any technique that was forbidden by the communist regime. In connection with this, we aim to collect all documents that can be related to samizdat, providing information for its preparation and distribution, especially with regard to local distribution and procurement opportunities.
